The Silverado Modjeska Recreation and Park District is a local government special district established by the Orange County Board of Supervisors in 1961. Its purpose is to provide a well-round program of recreation and leisure time activities for residents of the County's canyon areas, which includes Silverado, Ladd, Black Star, Williams and Modjeska canyons.
